Supplements for children: what is genuinely needed

4 min read

With children's supplements it is easy to fall into one of two extremes: give nothing, or buy half the pharmacy. Both fail equally.

Less is better

A child does not need a long list. They need the few things genuinely lacking — and consistency. Everything else adds load without benefit.

That is why the kids range has three products, not thirty. Immunity, vitamin D3 and sleep. That covers the needs that actually come up most often.

The format decides more than it does for adults

An adult can make themselves swallow a capsule. A child cannot. If taking it becomes a daily battle, it will simply stop. The best formula in the world counts for nothing if the child won't take it.

A spray removes that battle: one press, no water, no tears.

Dosage is not “the adult one, only smaller”

Children's formulas are separate formulas, not scaled-down adult doses. Different needs, different concentrations.

And the one rule that does not change: consult a paediatrician before giving a child any supplement. A supplement is no substitute for food and does not treat illness.

Consistency matters more than dose

Taking it daily through the season does more than one large dose a month. Build it into a habit you already have — breakfast, teeth, spray.

The simplest system is the one you never have to remember.
